Surprisingly, the word ‘free’ can sometimes be frightening. ‘What's the catch?’, ‘Too good to be true?’, ‘If someone asks me for my bank details, it's definitely a scam!’

These are probably the thoughts that go through your mind when you hear that EDUCOM’s services are free.

This is where you are wrong! All our recommendations, counselling and assistance for boarding schools and summer camps are free of charge. Far from being a scam, this is simply our business model. In this article, we suggest removing any doubts you may have and explaining how we work in more detail. Because our transparency is bound to earn your trust.

It doesn’t cost more to have the right support!

EDUCOM is a company dedicated to parents and families. Whether you’re looking for a boarding school abroad, a summer camp or a humanitarian trip, our philosophy will always be the same: your child’s education comes first. That’s why we’re with you every step of the way. From the selection of schools or organisations to your child’s return home.

We always start by listening carefully to your needs: your child’s age, the language they want to learn, whether they’re finishing school, doing a term abroad or just going away for a couple of weeks to brush up on their English over the summer. The aim is to fully understand the context of your request so that we can find THE best solution.

Once the profile of your request has been established, we will send you our recommendations of schools or camps. The options we send you will always match your request as closely as possible, according to your child and your requirements.

We work with more than 250 trusted partners, re-evaluated each year to meet our high standards of quality, safety, and individual childcare. So, you can be sure that you’ll find the programme that’s right for your child.

Once we’ve sent you the documentation, you’ll probably have lots of questions. We’ll be happy to answer them all. Some parents can take a decision very quickly. Others call us 2, 3, 4 or even 10 times before making up their minds. That’s no problem. You can call us as often as you like, and it still won’t affect your bill!

Once the decision has been taken, we will take care of all the administrative details: sending the enrolment form, take care of any changes, notification of special dietary requirements, etc. We will also make sure that the school or camp has received your child’s travel details in order to organise transfers to and from the airport.

And finally, we remain your privileged link throughout your child’s stay abroad.

You can contact us at any time for any emergency: your child can’t settle in, his roommate is unpleasant, he can’t find the counsellor when he arrives at the airport… We’re there to act immediately and find a solution.

All the above advice and support is free for parents! You will never pay more through EDUCOM than you would by registering directly on the websites of recommended schools or organisations. We don’t mark up our prices compared to what you can see on the Internet, and we don’t charge any application fees. So why not take advantage? Since it doesn’t cost any more to be well looked after!

So how does it work?

EDCUOM is compensated directly by the schools or partner organisations where we place children. That’s why we always ask parents to reference EDUCOM when they enroll their child somewhere. This allows us to open a file and follow your child.

The advantage of our approach is that we can be totally transparent about the location and prices of all the organisations your children go to. You won’t be sending your child to “English + Sports” on page 4 of a brochure. You send your child to a school that has a name, a programme, a price list, a website, and a contact form!
